Cadets
Tankerton Bay Sailing Club (TBSC) is proud to have a vibrant and enthusiastic group of sailing cadets. The Club provides a dedicated programme of activities, both on and off the water, for its cadet members. All activities are led by qualified and highly experienced volunteers in its membership to deliver the very best experience for young people (ages 8 to 18) who wish to learn and develop their skills in sailing.
As well as providing a range of sailing opportunities, we believe we have one of the best locations on the north Kent coast. Whether, as a young person, you are new to sailing or wish to advance your existing skills, TBSC will help you to achieve your goals. Our programme for cadets provides activities, along with Club racing, to suit all competencies and aspirations.
At TBSC, we recognise the experience and enjoyment gained from learning to sail can provide many important developmental skills, as well as mental and physical health benefits. Our ambition is to provide confidence-building, fun and safe sailing opportunities for young people.
