Coronavirus update
Living with Covid
In tandem with the withdrawal of Covid restrictions across the UK, our own covid controls are now similarly reduced. The Covid-19 Master Risk Assessment, subsidiary assessments and associated controls are withdrawn for the 2022 Season. The following controls remain;
- The club will be maintained to its usual high level of cleanliness, with end-of-day clean-down of the bar when used, provision of a dishwasher for used crockery, bar deep-cleans in line with food hygiene requirements and a weekly clubhouse deep-clean as minimum.
- The clubhouse will remain well-ventilated when open and forced ventilation in changing rooms will be maintained by way of extractor fans.
- Members remain encouraged to stay away from the club should they test positive for Covid or display prescribed symptoms.
- In the event of a notification of a member or visitor case of Covid at TBSC, or development of symptoms within 72hrs of visiting, close contacts will be identified between the individual concerned & the Committee, and subsequently notified by a nominated Committee member. Membership-wide comms can also be sent out via the following template;
Dear members,
I am writing to inform you that a fellow member who attended TBSC on [date] has since tested positive for Covid-19. We will now act to directly notify those who are identified as close contacts and will continue to maintain the club’s level of cleanliness to its usual high standard.
In line with the national winding-down of Covid restrictions, club activities and access to the clubhouse will not be affected at this time.
Please would all members maintain the following;
- Ensure you sign in via the participation log, which is kept by the front door whilst the clubhouse is open.
- Do not attend the club if you are experiencing symptoms of Covid-19, have tested positive, or are under guidance to self-isolate.
- Inform a member of the committee as soon as practicable if you experience symptoms or test positive and have visited the club within the previous 72 hours.
