Learn to sail a dinghy (RYA Level 1)
This 2-day RYA Level 1 course provides a short introduction to sailing for novices. By the end of the course you will have a basic understanding of dinghy-handling techniques and background knowledge.
Separate youth courses for those aged 8 - 16 are available in the summer where youngsters can follow the RYA Youth Sailing Stages to build skills safely and have plenty of fun along the way. For more information please contact us via training@tbsc.co.uk.
The adult course is carried out in single handed dinghies under the instruction of our RYA qualified instructors and a safety boat is in attendance at all times you are on the water. As well as plenty of sailing sessions there are some on-shore theory sessions too. This course is aimed at adults, but we will consider accompanied youth, so do ask if you would like to learn as a family.
